Don Brymo born Don Brymo Uchegbu is a famous Nigerian actor, who was born on the 24th of November 1966 in Anambra State, in the south eastern part of Nigeria.
Brymo is currently 51 years old and would clock 52 by November 24th, 2018. The actor is known for his comic roles and hilarious American swag character in most movies. He usually plays Royal King alongside Zubby Michael, Regina Daniels, Ebere Okaro Onyiuke, Caz Chidiebere, Yul Edochie, Ken Eric, Mike Ezuruonye, Rita Edochie, and Ngozi Ezeonu, and many more others in Nigerian movies.
The actor who is originally from Anambra State, one of the states in the eastern part of Nigeria attended his Primary and Secondary education all in the east. That is to say that he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate, WAEC, before proceeding into acting. He lived a greater part of his life in the United States of America. Reason he adopts American swags into his acting. He is married with children.
Don Brymo started acting at a tender age, when he was still in Secondary School, where he was a member of several Dramatic Clubs and performed on different stage plays and dramas.

The ace nollywood actor has featured in over 100 nollywood movies including; The Forest Girl, No Mercy, The gods Will Fight For Us, Oga Landlord, The Lion Girl, The Village Prostitute, Land of Fire, The Fish Girl, My God Never Sleeps, Nne Ogbu-Efi and Better Tomorrow, among others.
His dedication and hard work has won him award as he was recently awarded Award of Excellence at the 3rd annual Actors Guild of Nigeria, South East Zone ceremony.
At the event, the actor along with others were honoured for their contribution to the growth of the Nigerian entertainment industry (Nollywood).
Other awards to his credit include; Best Actor in a Leading Role at the City People Entertainment Awards, Most Promising Actor to Watch at the Best Of Nollywood Awards, Most Prominent Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Movie Academy Awards, and Best Supporting Actor at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
Recently, the actor said that President Mohammadu Buhari’s Administration should ask Nollywood for help.
According to Don Brymo who was not happy with the turnout of things from the Federal government after the news of banning video production outside the country, Buhari’s administration is aimed at destroying the country rather than finding solutions to the lingering problem in the country.
He had said:
“My face ever since I read that the Nigerian government is planning to stop the production of film and music abroad. What’s wrong with this country? How is that supposed to address the hardships been faced by the masses?
“How is that supposed to bring solution to the recession the economy is in? Do they really know the impact the Nigerian entertainment industry is creating globally?
“Why is this administration poised on destroying what many brains past and present have labored to build? It is a shame that this present administration is not facing the challenges of the country but rather beating around the bush for 2 years now. This is total rubbish and idiosyncratic. If they don’t know what to do, they should ask for help.”
In 2017, Don Brymo lost his mum. He received the sad news while he was out shopping for her outside the shores of Nigeria. He had written.
“The day this dark picture was taken 06/02/2017 was really a dark day in my life. The day I lost my sweet mother to the cold hands of death. The same day I was out to shop for her for my return….,now in Nigeria and about to go back to base,I woke up this morning and it dawned on me again that mama is gone #sad #missingmum”
Also mourning his mom he posted a picture of her on Instagram and captioned it:
“Will always love you, mummy…,rest with the Lord till we meet to part no more”
