AMAA 2018 : Joke Silva, RMD wins, see full list of winners

AMAA 2018 : Saturday October 20th was a big day for some notable nollywood celebrities as they carted away different categories of awards at the just concluded 2018 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), which took place in Kigali, Rwanda.

The likes of veteran Nollywood stars, Joke Silva, Gideon Okeke, Richard Mofe-Damijo also known as RMD and Dakore Egbuson – Akande were dig winners of the awards.

Also, the event saw Nollywood movies sweeping away 14 of the popular awards and dominating the acting categories. Nollywood films such as Banana Island Ghosts and Isoken were among the winners at the event.

Jade Osiberu’s debut production starring Dakore Akande, Joseph Benjamin, Funke Akindele won the Ayiam Osigwe Foundation Award for Best Nigerian Film.
